Attending
the web conferences always gives insight of some aspect of the assignment.
Whether it’s peer to peer or instructor to peer, you come away with knowledge
gained. We ask questions and discuss the unknown about our assignments. Having
a web conference is a really good time to share and hear other classmates
progresses and concerns, because a lot of the time we are all in the same boat;
wanting to know the who’s, what’s, when’s, where’s and how’s of the assignment.
I attended two web conferences this week.
1st Web Conference August 29, 2013
Our first
conference was not very productive. We waited patiently for the instructor to
arrive. Only after, texting, calling and emailing our teacher, found that the
web conference had been cancelled because our teacher forgot. During this time
though, gave us an opportunity to reconnect with our classmates. We discussed
our assignments for this course and collaborated on some issues and highlights
of this week’s assignment.
2nd Web Conference August 31, 2013
Our second web conference was better. The teacher was early and we had a
big group. Everyone asked questions, teacher to student and peer to peer. A lot
of questions were answered and details given about the Ed. Tech. Leadership
program. Many students exchanged email address and Facebook pages for additional
collaboration.
